Ryan has experience in the areas of commercial litigation, insolvency, personal injury, and employment law. He has also provided services in administrative law including human rights, employment, and residential tenancy. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and various administrative tribunals.
Ryan was called to the bar in 2016 after obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and articling with the firm.
During his law degree Ryan received the David Roberts Award in Legal Writing and the Rosina and Gabriel Iacobucci Prize in Family Law, as well as the Dean’s Entrance Award in 2012. Ryan was President of the UBC Law French Club in 2014-2015 and was a full-time clinic head for the Law Student’s Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) in 2013.
