Two cases come to mind. The first is where we were able to take steps to prevent an elderly family member from being taken advantage of by advising family members as to their legal options when a person's mental capacity is affected, arranging referrals to the proper healthcare providers for assessments and treatment and obtaining a court order for the management of her financial affairs by a trusted family member.
